Harrow International School Dubai is seeking an exceptional Parent Relations Executive to join its founding school.

Job Purpose:
The Parent Relations Executive plays a key role in delivering an exceptional parent experience across all touchpoints within the school community. The role is responsible for fostering strong relationships with current and prospective families, supporting parent engagement initiatives, managing communications, and ensuring a premium standard of customer service aligned with the values and ethos of Harrow.
The successful candidate will act as an ambassador for the school, promoting a welcoming, professional, and relationship-driven environment that reflects the prestige and standards associated with the Harrow brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Parent and Family Engagement
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and families to promote strong communication, trust, and engagement within the school community.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for parents, ensuring all enquiries, concerns, and requests are handled professionally, promptly, and with empathy.
- Provide support and guidance to parents regarding their child’s educational journey and overall school experience.
- Handle parent concerns and complaints effectively, ensuring issues are addressed sensitively, professionally, and in a timely manner.
- Support the onboarding and orientation process for new families to ensure a seamless transition into the school community.
- Manage prospective parent journey and follow-up engagement.
- Ensure consistent premium service across all parent touchpoints.
Events & Community Relations
- Organise and coordinate parent engagement events and activities, including parent-teacher conferences, open houses, workshops, information sessions, and parent education programmes.
- Establish/manage Harrow Parent School Association.
- Promote active parent participation in school initiatives and community-building activities.
- Encourage parent advocacy and community leadership.
- Build relationships with corporate and local partners.
- Support external engagement to drive awareness and enrolment.
- Support the delivery of a positive and inclusive school culture that enhances student learning and achievement.
Community & Marketing Support
- Manage and maintain parent communication channels including newsletters, social media platforms, and school websites.
- Draft, coordinate, and distribute parent communications, announcements, invitations, and community updates.
- Ensure communication is aligned with the school’s brand, tone, and premium customer experience standards.
Admissions & Administrative Support
- Assist with admissions and enrolment processes, including responding to enquiries, supporting and delivering high-quality school tours, and guiding prospective families through the admissions journey.
- Maintain accurate parent records and communication logs within school systems and CRM platforms.
- Own a structured complaints handling process.
- Track, escalate, and report parent concerns and trends.
- Prepare reports and summaries related to parent engagement activities and feedback.
- Oversight of reception / visitor experience.
Data and Continuous Improvement
- Define and track metrics such as:
- Parent satisfaction scores
- Event participation rates
- Collect and analyse data relating to parent engagement, communication effectiveness, and parent satisfaction to support school improvement initiatives.
- Recommend opportunities to enhance the parent experience and strengthen community relations.
Skills
Qualifications
- Hold a relevant degree
Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in customer relations, parent engagement, admissions, hospitality, or a client-facing role.
- Previous experience within an international school environment is highly desirable
Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication/CRM platforms.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
