Summary:
As a Learning Support Assistant (Inclusion), you will be responsible for providing additional support to students with special educational needs to help them access the curriculum and reach their full potential in the classroom.

Job Responsibility:
1. Work closely with teachers and special education coordinators to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with special educational needs.
2. Assist students with classroom activities and ensure they are able to fully participate in lessons.
3. Provide one-on-one support to students who require extra help with their learning.
4. Monitor and track the progress of students with special needs and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
5. Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
6. Collaborate with other learning support assistants and educational professionals to support the overall development of students.

Candidate Requirements:
1. High school certificate or equivalent.
2. Industry certifications or relevant training in special education or learning support is preferred.
3. Proven experience working with students with special educational needs.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Patience and empathy when working with students facing learning challenges.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Knowledge of different learning strategies and techniques to support students with special needs.

Knowledge of special education needs (SEN) and inclusive education practices
- Ability to provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
- Communication skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Patience and empathy to support students facing learning challenges
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies and support positive behavior
- Organizational skills to assist in planning and delivering individual education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and resources to support student learning
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced educational environment
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive learning environment
