Jebel Ali School, Dubai, is seeking an outstanding Learning Assistant, to join their leading British curriculum school.
Job Purpose: To assist in providing an engaging, inclusive learning environment that supports the developmental and educational needs of all the children, under the overall direction of the Class Teacher.

The Role
The Learning Assistant supports the classroom teacher in promoting the learning and personal development of students, providing a learning environment that supports their developmental and educational needs, under the overall direction of the class teacher.
Skills
The successful applicant will:
- Minimum A - Level or equivalent
- To work collaboratively with the class teacher
- Involvement in planning and assessing children’s learning.
- Creating inspiring and enabling environments with the respective teams, both indoors and outdoors.
- To support with resource and classroom organisation.
- To lead, where necessary, and support small group sessions.
- To have direct communication with parents of children in their class.
- To support with wider school responsibilities when required.
- To take an active role in improving own professional development with the support of Year Leader and Line Manager.
