Department: Operations
Direct Reporting Line: Head of Business Operations
Job Purpose: To drive a vehicle on a schedule over a designated route and ensure the safety and timely delivery of passengers.
Key Relationships (Internal and External): Central Office staff as required.
Key Accountabilities:
- Drive Taaleem provided vehicle in a safe and professional manner
- Pick up or drop the Director of Education
- Deliver important documents to required destinations
- Ensure that all deliveries have been signed and delivered to the correct recipient
- Perform preventative and regular maintenance on vehicle
- Follow a schedule to ensure timely delivery
- Chart out the best route possible in order to save time
- Manage daily inspections on the vehicle
- Maintain mileage logs
- Present a professional image as a representative of Taaleem at all times
- Drivers are expected to be familiar with and adhere to the Taaleem Company Transportation Policy at all times
Skills
Person Specification:
Education: High school degree or good general education appropriate to the post
Requirements:
- Experience: 5 to 10 years in a similar role, preferably as an executive driver.
- Knowledge: Strong familiarity with UAE road and routes especially in Dubai roads, traffic regulations, and the best routes for efficient travel.
- Skills: Excellent driving skills, professionalism, and discretion when dealing with executives.
Competencies:
- Holds valid UAE driving license
- Clean and smartly presented
- Non-Smoker
