Summary:
We are searching for a Secondary I&S Teacher specializing in History to join our team, with the potential to assume the position of Head of Department (HOD) for the right candidate starting in August 2026. The ideal candidate should have experience teaching History at the secondary level, particularly in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

Job Responsibility:
- Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive History lessons to secondary students.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that fosters academic growth and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create curriculum, assessments, and educational programs.
- If suitable, lead and oversee the History department, which includes supervising colleagues and organizing departmental activities.
- Regularly assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to aid in improvement.
- Keep abreast of educational best practices, integrating new teaching methodologies and technologies into lessons where appropriate.

Candidate Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Education, History, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is advantageous.
- Possess teaching certification and relevant experience in instructing History at the secondary level, with a strong preference for experience in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
- Exhibit strong leadership qualities and a track record of effectively managing a team or department.
