Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Humanities Teacher to join our team in August 2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching humanities subjects to secondary school students and be committed to creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment.

Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards
- Teach secondary level humanities subjects, such as history, geography, and social studies
- Assess student learning through a variety of methods, including exams, projects, and presentations
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as needed

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a humanities subject; Master's degree is a plus.
- Teaching qualification is essential 
- Proven experience teaching humanities subjects at the secondary level
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and educational best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Passion for teaching and fostering a positive learning environment

Strong knowledge of the humanities subject matter, including history, geography, and social studies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to different learning styles
- Experience in using technology and multimedia tools to enhance the learning experience
- Strong classroom management skills to create a positive and productive learning environment
- Ability to assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback
- Continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and curriculum changes
