Summary:
We are currently seeking a School Counsellor to join our team in August 2026. The School Counsellor will provide social and emotional support to students, address any behavioral or academic concerns, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Job Responsibility:
- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students to support their emotional and social well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student issues and develop appropriate interventions.
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop customized plans to support their academic and personal growth.
- Organize various workshops and events on topics such as mental health, conflict resolution, and bullying prevention.
- Keep accurate and confidential records of counselling sessions and student progress.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a counsellor in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of adolescent development and common challenges faced by students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic and patient demeanor with a passion for helping young people navigate challenges.
- Certification or licensure as a School Counsellor is preferred.
- UAE experience is an advantage.
