Position Overview

We require a secondary Islamic A & B Teacher to deliver high‑quality Islamic instruction to native and non‑native speakers across the primary school, ensuring engaging learning experiences and supporting students’ language development.

Key Responsibilities 

• Plan and deliver engaging Islamic A & B lessons 

• Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities.

• Use varied teaching methods and resources to enhance student engagement.

• Assess learning, track progress, and provide clear feedback.

• Maintain a positive, safe, and well‑organised learning environment.

• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum planning.

• Communicate effectively with parents about student progress.

• Participate in professional development and school initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Islamic

• Recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Islamic A & B

• Strong command of Arabic and proficiency in English.

Desirable

• Experience in an international or IB school.

Fluency in written and spoken Arabic
Ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver effective teaching sessions
Proficiency in nurturing a positive learning environment for students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues
Knowledge of educational technology tools for enhancing teaching methods
Ability to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Patience and empathy towards students with diverse learning needs
Classroom management skills to maintain discipline and encourage student participation
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with best practices in education
