Job Summary:
We are seeking a Secondary English Teacher to provide maternity cover for an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to secondary students, with knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
Job Responsibility:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons following the IB curriculum standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues on IB curriculum development and student support.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English
- Teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Knowledge of IB curriculum development and assessment practices.
