Primary Job Purpose:
To liaise between the School, Parents, prospective parents and the community in support of effective communication, student wellbeing, and parent involvement.
Key Relationships: Parents, School Community, Students, Teachers, School Registrar, SLT, Partnership Schools Team and Taaleem.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise and support parent groups such as the Parent Council, including running workshops for parents in consultation with school staff and outside agencies.
• Handle initial parental concerns; record, solve and direct to appropriate school colleagues for support in order to close the concern.
• Reach out to families where the school has concerns regarding their child, including attendance issues.
• Attend teacher/parent meetings and translate as necessary.
• Support the Registrar by taking school tours with prospective families and answering their questions.
• Support parents to submit required documentation with applications and registrations to ensure compliance.
• Support with the orientation and induction of new families.
• Promote the school in the community and reach out to the community as requested.
• Attend, photograph / video school community events and meetings, report on events using the school’s communication channels.
• Update and maintain the school communication channels to parents and ensure accurate and quality communication.
• Promote school events and activities through newsletters, display boards, and social media.
• Support the school with the production of certificates, leaflets, and other marketing and advertising materials.
• Ensure all communications and signage in school adheres to the approved branding guidelines.
• Liaise with the Facilities Manager to make sure the school is always presentable and prepared for events.
• Undertake any other duties to commensurate with the role, as reasonably requested by the management.

High levels of English and Arabic proficiency, written and verbal. Good interpersonal skills and a desire to help families with empathy and sound judgement.
